She recently said ‘yes’ when her fiancé Ryan Thomas got down on one knee.
And Lucy Mecklenburgh was keen to flaunt her sparkling diamond ring as she stepped out for her first time since announcing their engagement last month.
The former TOWIE star, 27, looked glamorous as she arrived at a launch for new app Lets Day Out in west London on Thursday evening.
The fitness guru opted for summer chic in a pretty plaid summer frock by Free People, which completed Lucy’s glowing tan with its muted pastel shades.
She teamed her plunging dress with a pair of tan leather heels, which boosted her petite frame by offering her some added inches.
Lucy opted for a typically glamorous coat of make-up, as she covered her pretty features in soft touches of bronzer and a glossy lip.
Keeping the attention on her striking good looks, Lucy swept her brunette tresses back into a chic up do, while accessorising with heart-shaped earrings.
Lucy’s appearance comes after her beau Ryan made a very unexpected arrival at Jenifer Lopez’s 50th birthday bash in Miami.
The former soap star, 35, couldn’t contain his excitement as he travelled from Manchester to Miami for the icon’s gold themed bash, hosted by PrettyLittleThing owner and his BFF Umar Kamani.
Lucy and Ryan have been on cloud nine since getting engaged during a romantic trip to Italy’s Amalfi Coast last month.
The happy couple spilled the beans about the details of the proposal in a new interview with OK! magazine, revealing the logistics of the magical moment changed at the very last minute.
Lucy had an ‘inkling’ the ex-Coronation Street star, 35, was going to pop the question, but he threw her off the scent with a few joke proposals – something he has made a regular habit of, much to her mortification.
Ryan had originally planned to propose on their hotel balcony while two traditional singers serenaded them, however, after visiting the gorgeous Villa TreVille hotel earlier in the day, he changed the location last minute.
It was a race against the clock to set up their picturesque dinner date and he was forced to trust the hotel staff to create the perfect setting.
Lucy told the publication: ‘[On the balcony earlier in the evening], he said, “This is so romantic, I should have proposed here!” He also got down on one knee and pretended to propose earlier in the day as a joke.
Ryan added: ‘Over the last few years I’ve lost count of the amount of times we’ve been in a romantic setting and I’ve got down on one knee. It winds Lucy up!’
Lucy said it left her ‘mortified’ because he does it in public and everyone looks at them.
Ryan knew exactly what kind of ring Lucy wanted as the pair had discussed it at length – but the actor admitted his plan was flawed when Lucy suddenly announced she had changed her mind just a few hours before he was due to propose.
‘Awkwardly, a few hours before I proposed, she told me she’d changed her mind about what she wanted and now wanted a single diamond. A friend of mine runs a company called Bijoux Jewellery so helped me design it’, he explained.
At the time of the proposal, Lucy was excited to share the news with her fans on social media by sharing a smitten snap where she leaned in to kiss her other half while flashing her new sparkler.
Lucy took to Instagram to post the smitten snap from the Amalfi coast as she leaned in to kiss her other half while flashing her new sparkler.
‘I said YES❤️,’ Lucy wrote alongside a ring emoji as she informed her fans of their relationship’s status update.
Ryan, who shares daughter Scarlett, 10, with ex Tina O’Brien, had clearly pulled out all the stops for the proposal as he wined and dined the stunner with a romantic al fresco dinner by the sea.
